iTunes "playlist" question

1) After 10 years one of my playlist has disappeared from iTunes. It's still on my cell phone, but not on my desktop. Anyone know of a way to get the playlist back without me manually having to create the list over.

2) Another playlist is not in song format, it's in album format, showing the pictures of the artist/album. How do I get the song format back? All the other playlist are still in song format.

Hello pthart,

You can use these steps to sync music and playlists between your iPhone and computer:

1. Open iTunes and connect your device to your computer with a USB cable.
2. Click the device icon in the upper-left corner of the iTunes window. Learn what to do if you don't see the icon
3. From the list under Settings on the left side of the iTunes window, click the type of content that you want to sync or remove.* To turn syncing on for a content type, select the checkbox next to Sync.
4. Select the checkbox next to each item that you want to sync.
5. Click the Apply button in the lower-right corner of the window. If syncing doesn't start automatically, click the Sync button.

Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer

If you're using the Apple Music service, then you can ignore those steps and just turn on the Sync Library option on both your devices: Use Sync Library to access your music library across your devices

Cheers!
