not able to sync messages from iPhone to mac book pro. Help I have tried re entering account info on all devices, turned off i messages off and on, shutdown all devices and reboot. Help!

Hello Lcdcook,


Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about syncing Messages.


Past messages will only sync with Messages in iCloud. Since they are not currently sent. It's different than IMAP email that keeps a copy on the server and always downloads all copies to the devices you sign in to.


Access your messages on all your Apple devices - Apple Support


Set up iCloud for Messages on all your devices - Apple Support


If you have this enabled and it's still not syncing, then you may be out of iCloud Storage:


Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support
