Mail 'synchronize'

Hi, I am following up on a conversation where question was not answered.

What is the difference between rebuild (everyone understands what that is) and SYNCHRONIZE,

Please do not re-explain the often used, well understood 'rebuild' unless in context of defining synchronize.

My MAIL Is so screwed up for two months, and I tried everything on all the discussions, except I have not tried synchronized.

Thanks so much.

Synchonizing email across all devices accessing the email account does just as stated. Regardless what device you access your email from, the email account is synchronized across all devices. The email account and all email clients accessing the synchronized account must be configured to use the IMAP protocol.
