Hello everyone, (iPhone X)
I upgraded to iOS 16.5 yesterday and decided to back it up after, I had to re-set it again due to some issues but now when I press "restore back up" it says "erasing iPhone" and the computer but the phone actually restarts and it still saying "erasing iPhone".
I have done a forced re-start etc but I'm still having these issues.
Can any one help me please?

As long as you have a backup, erasing it shouldn't be an issue. The device must be erased before restoring a backup: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
If the iPhone erases, and you restore the backup, if you still have issues, try the steps in this help article: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support
Try the top portion first, the try the bottom half if you still can't get the iPhone to boot up and restore.
