It sounds like you're not seeing your battery percentage on your iPhone. If that's the case, we'd recommend reviewing the information in this article as it provides your options for viewing that: Show the battery percentage on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


"Find battery percentage on iPhone 14 and other models with Face ID

On iPhone 14 and other iPhone models with Face ID (iPhone X and later), the battery percentage appears in Control Center. Just swipe down from the top-right corner of your display.

With iOS 16, you can turn on the battery percentage so it appears in your status bar. Go to Settings > Battery, and turn on Battery Percentage."
