Apple Watch series 3 security question

My watch glass face is broke and I'm sending it for repair, should I delete my watch acct before sending?

The watch still works, but I can't get the passcode in because it won't take the last digit.

See the 'Before you send us your Apple Watch' section in:

Here is a way to unpair your watch if you can't do it on the watch or iPhone:

  • With a web browser, go to: https://www.iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Open Find My iPhone and select All Devices (at the top). Then click your Apple Watch, select 'Erase Apple Watch', and select Next until the device is erased. Finally click "X" next to remove your Apple Watch.
