Why is the weather app prediction

I am physically located 5 miles from the local airport which is a National Weather Service reporting station. The Apple Weather application is consistently different from this local weather information, including current weather events.

I got tired of this nonsense and followed the National Weather Service's instructions for adding their app to my iPhone 14 Pro Max (16.5), and then I set the app to my local Airport reporting source. I no longer launch the Apple Weather app.

Have you used the “Report an Issue” button after making sure your weather is set to “My Location?”

We can’t really do anything about this. Apple runs Weather, not we your fellow users.

Just a thought: If you look at the location at the top of the page, after making sure it’s set to “My Location,” how far away are you from that location? The further away, the less accurate Weather will be.
