Video call audio with Monterrey update whatsapp, FaceTime

I was searching for a fix in crackling audio, after upgrading to Monterrey. I couldn't reply to the dead thread so here is what worked for me. I uninstalled MS teams audio driver as well as another virtual audio driver I was using previously. I then relaunched the core audio driver. I'd you don't know the commands for terminal search for "how to remove MS teams audio driver" etc. Additionally they can be found in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/

I didn't have to uninstall zoom audio driver but I didn't uninstall 2 others that i am no longer using. A simple restart can restart your core audio drivers and that should resolve your issue. If you are using teams you may need another workaround. After doing this my i verified 8n /utilities/Audio Midi Setup that built in microphone was set to default and tested audio in Whatsapp. I don't use facetime so I cannot confirm the issue was resolved there also.
