switch control with mouse on ipad

i bought a keyboard and a mouse for my ipad specifically to play games on it, my mouse and keyboard work just fine and i have no issues with them outside of switch control but when i enable switch control my mouse doesn’t click and instead holds, not only in games but everywhere else too. sometimes instead of holding click it just stops clicking at all

The reason for this is that AssistiveTouch, which is needed for the mouse per How to use a pointer device with AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support, cannot run at the same time as Switch Control and vice versa. You will only be able to use one at a time.
