Apple Music on Denon via Alexa

How can I play Apple Music on my Denon by using the Alexa command, "Alexa, play Mozart on Apple Music". Then from the Denon the sound system in the house plays Mozart, not just the Alexa speaker. Thanks.

Hello Minkcove,

You can use these steps to set up the Apple Music service on an Alexa enabled device:

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app.
2. In the lower-right corner, tap More.
3. Tap Skills & Games.
4. In the upper-right corner, tap the search field, then enter Apple Music.
5. Tap Enable To Use.
6. Tap Settings.
7. Tap Link Account.
8. Follow the instructions to sign in with your Apple ID

Play Apple Music with Alexa

Cheers!

Hi Minkcove,

We are glad to hear it's working now using the iPad via Bluetooth. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to reach out in Apple Support Communities.

Please submit feedback for Apple Music to add in the option to play with third-party speakers and receivers setup the way you have it: Feedback - Apple Music - Apple

Or ask Amazon to see how this interacts with third-party receivers while using Apple Music: Amazon help

Kindest regards!

Thank you for the help. I have linked Apple Music to the Alexa. However, from there I want to connect to the Denon receiver in order to play via all the speakers in the house, not just the Alexa speaker. I can do this normally by commanding to "play on Home Theater". But only with Amazon music, not Apple Music. To play Apple Music via the Denon I have to use the iPad blue tooth.
