Please tell me how to disable the hashtag feature. I DO NOT use hashtags. Every time I use the POUND sign # preceeding letters or numbers, NOTES turn it into a blasted hashtag.
Please tell me how to disable it. Not everyone is in love with hashtags :-0.

Uh oh…went to settings - under Notes there is a ‘Tags’ section where you can disable auto tagging
Sorry, I can’t believe I missed that when I went to settings a few months ago.
Is there an equivalent setting for macOS? I'm using Ventura 13.5.2.
Notes > Settings don't have "Auto Convert to Tag". System Settings doesn't either.
Note: This is helpful instructions for iOS but not macOS.
