Merge data across Apple ID

I have 2 Apple IDs and one of them is hooked up to an Apple Card so I realized I have to go back to my original Apple ID. My dilemma is that I really don’t want to loose messages and a lot of my information. Is there a way for me to merge my messages and photos etc. all into one iCloud or between devices so I can get rid of the other one? I have several phones and a laptop so if there’s ways I can do it across other Mac devices I’m willing to try anything at this point. Thanks for any assistance in advance!

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

Hi Alinicolem01,

Presently there is no option to merge Apple ID accounts. There are a few options or processes you can use instead that may accomplish some of the same goals.

1) You can set up Family Sharing and add both accounts to the group. Doing so will allow you access to most purchases using the steps in How to share purchases with your family.

2) For other types of data, you may be able to sign into iCloud account #1, allow the information to sync or restore from a backup if appropriate, then sign out of that account. Per Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac "Before you sign out, you’ll be asked if you want to keep a copy of any of this information on your device." At this point, signing into iCloud account #2 would add the data from that account to the device. This would work for items like contacts, calendars or photos but Messages and other services may not remain after signing out.

Regards.
