How do I know if I have photos in My Photo Stream?

I keep getting an email that My Photo Stream is about to get canceled. How do I know if I have any photos in My Photo Stream? I’ve looked it up and it says I should see a My Photo Stream album in photos. I do not seem to have a My Photo Stream album. Does that mean I’m safe and that none of my photos are in My Photo Stream? No one else in my family has gotten that message so I’m nervous that there are photos there that I can’t find, so will lose soon.

Open the Photos app and choose "Albums" on the bottoms. If one of your albums is "My Photo Stream", then those are the photos you have there. If you do no see that album, then you do not have it and it will not affect you at all.

If I checked in my photos for Photo Stream AFTER the shut down on 7/26, would I still see Photo Stream or have they erased it entirely. I neglected to check when I first heard about the shut down. Is it now too late?

It's too late. Photo Stream has already been shut down.
