Is anyone else experiencing battery drain from the recent update? I have a new watch and this recent update, in under an hour (53 minutes to be exact), had my battery go from 55% to 39%.

I am also having a major battery problem after the update. I need help from Apple. My watch went from over 80% one evening and powered off shortly after I woke up the next morning. I'm charging it for the 3rd time today.
Same. Charged to 100% yesterday afternoon and woke up this morning to battery at 16%. Down 84% in 17 hours of minimal use is a dramatic difference from the previous dot release.

my watch is within warranty. I am chatting with apple support. they're doing a diagnostic through the phone. I'll post a quick update when the diagnostic is finished.

@Dah•veed did yours have a similar battery drain issue, did resetting fix the issue?
I had short battery life issues after an update and it has solved the issue.
@Dah•veed I just did the hard reset and it does seem to be helping, thank you very much.
Battery is still draining faster than before the update, but not as bad as when it was first updated… I hope they come out with another update and one better for battery health soon.
You can always try another hard reset. They don't hurt anything.
How is your watch now?
I didn't do any hard reset, just the normal habit. It's 4:20 pm in my current location, and my watch is at 66%, which seems to be normal from before the update
I think the hard reset helped out. It takes a while for the battery to adjust, but it did end up lasting me the day yesterday and I was happy about it. I hope this helps everyone else.
