Can I access iPad 9th Gen with IMEI?

I gave my iPad to my granddaughter as a gift. I agreed to pay it off and then it would be hers. We had a small disagreement and she blocked me...with her parents help!! Can I access anything with only the IMEI#?

I don't want to be vindictive, I want her to know all is forgiven and I never hold grudges. I only want my relationship with her back. The iPad is the sticky point of contention.

I am not asking for advice with the kiddo, just the iPad.

I'm thankful for any positive help you can offer!

Assuming that the iPad was properly prepared before being given to your Granddaughter (i.e., it was fully erased and the Activation Lock associated with your AppleID account was removed), then then iPad no longer has any relationship with your AppleID account. As such, you will have no access to, or control over, the iPad.

Knowledge of the IMEI, Serial Number or other device identifier does not confer ownership - and neither does this knowledge provide any access to the device. Perhaps consider that the security of the device (and information stored thereon) could be easily compromised if knowledge of this information, easily obtained, were to provide direct access.

As such, as technical means to re-establish communication with your Granddaughter are not available, you must be re-establish contact via other methods.
