Ipad pro m2

The iPad Pro M2 has excellent and fast hardware, and I thought this device could replace a desktop PC with its portable compatibility. I purchased this device for video editing and photo processing, but the problem is that the software used on this device doesn't support its powerful engine. Tasks such as file operations, importing files, and importing videos on the iPad are very complicated and often result in errors. It turns out I was wrong; this device is only meant for entertainment purposes and is not suitable for complex productivity tasks. Have any of you experienced something similar?

The M2-powered iPad is indeed a powerhouse - and, in some cases, it is true that some available Apps do not yet fully utilise the iPad’s capabilities.

That said, the iPad Pro is very capable of performing many tasks as well as (and, arguably, for some tasks better than) a traditional laptop/desktop computer. For portability and convenience, an iPad has no match.

The principally touch-UI does require some initial adjustment - but, once learned, this rapidly becomes second nature.

The main technical limitation is USB device connectivity. As the only supported mechanism to add required device-drivers for external devices is through installing a manufacturer-provided companion App, some USB devices cannot be connected or used with iPad (or iPhone). This limitation does preclude use of some classes of USB devices - which for some may be limiting factor.

Speaking personally - with very limited exception, my fifth generation iPad Pro (M1) is my go-to device of choice; with recent improvements to iPadOS, rarely do I need to use a traditional computer. Many quality third-party Apps are just as powerful and usable as their Windows PC and Mac counterparts. There is truly very little that the iPad cannot do.
