Cannot install Apple TV app on Samsung tv

2018 Samsung TVs should have the Apple TV app pre-installed (in supported countries). Nothing to install by the user.

Sorry to hear that. If it were me, then I would seek assistance from Samsung Support national, as the app is loaded from Samsung’s app repository.
The 2022 Samsung tv did come with the AppleTV app. Unfortunately when I did a factory reset to resolve another issue the app when trying to launch it comes up as a new install request. I click install, it goes to 100% then the error appears. Samsung techs came out today and could not resolve it either.
The Samsung tech has ordered a motherboard replacement in the hope’s this resolves the issue. Not sure if they have a solid state drive on the board which stores the apps and he is hoping this solves the issue, but worth a try…. Thanks for the responses! Wish me luck 😊
