The microphone on my AirPods Pro 2's is barely audible for people. I hear on them great, just when I talk is an issue

Did you have a chance to try resetting your AirPods to see if that improves the volume at all?

Cleaning your AirPods is also a great idea, as debris can cause issues with the microphone:
