I am unable to make or receive calls. I went to my carrier today and it has nothing to do with my network or settings. They spent 2 hours trying to figure out what is going on before they concluded that it was a problem with my phone. Anyone have any ideas?

I have covered all the recommendations in Apple support; as did my carrier today. They worked for 2 hours today and came to the conclusion that it is my iPhone that is not working properly. I believe that I need to have my phone looked at.
