Where is the SEARCH BAR in iTunes Store?

Why do I have to ask this question that others have asked since 2013?

I open iTunes store on my MacPro & there is no search field. I enter an artist on the far left, but it only searches my library. If I click the iTunes store index bar at far left, it does NOT search for what I have entered in the field at top left. I thought Apple UI was supposed to be INTUITIVE! Why do I even have to ask this question?

And why do the sliders require rollover to appear? I have to rollover blank space to enable the sliders? How is that helpful? Interface isn't ELEGANT is it's not intuitive.

And why did Apple dispense with "new from your artists"? I've spent $$$ downloading albums since early iTunes. And I now have to SEARCH each artist to see if they have a new release? You're make it difficult for me to SPEND $$$. How is that productive?

OK, end rant. But please, WHERE is the search bar in iTunes?

In the Music app menu bar, choose Music > Settings or Preferences > General and insure Show iTunes Store is selected.

Then click in the search box at the top of the left sidebar and then click the iTunes Store option at the top right of the main window as shown in the example in Buy music from the iTunes Store on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If the 3 options don't appear at the top right of the main window after doing the above, 2 things to try:

1) If the View menu in the menu bar contains "Hide Playing Next" or "Hide Lyrics" then click that item so that it changes to "Show Playing Next" or "Show Lyrics."

2) If there is a very small < at the top left of the main window (to the right of the sidebar search box), click it one or more times until there is no < there.
