Apple MAC M2 Chip : Rosetta 2 update is not available

Hello,

I am trying to install Roesetta-2 on a brand new Apple MAC device with its macOS 13.4.1 by keying in the command:

sudo /usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license

However, rosetta does not get installed and errors out as:

Rosetta 2 update is not available

Also we are not using any firewalls OR Packet Deep inspection software or any of such software.
We are trying the above on a brand new MAC that is updated to 13.4.1

However the above succeeds in M1 chip based MAC's

How to resolve this?

I don't have an M2 Mac to test this, but you could try launching an Intel application (or a Universal application, with "open with Rosetta" checked in the Info window). That should trigger the installation of Rosetta.
