Hide my text message window

How do I hide my text message window. Every time I laugh my computer opens up allowing my texts to be read by anyone in the vicinity. I do not like that and only want my texts or email visible if I open them up to be read. It is way too invasive! Please help me to fix this.

Hello Ashira7,

Open Settings
Click on Notifications
Set Show Previews to When Unlocked
Alternatively, toggle off Allow notifications when screen is locked

You can also click on Messages separately and toggle off Allow notifications when screen is locked.

No problem🙂 If you don't like all of them hidden, you can of course go in and configure this per app!
