Do you have any other devices that can connect? Like an iPhone or other computers? If so, then boot your iMac into safemode try it there and then back to regular mode and test. If not, try rebooting both your Internet Modem AND the router. Also check to insure you are not running a VPN or Anti-Virus software. If you are, remove them and test.
