I am trying to transfer photos from a first generation iPad model MB294C to iCloud. When I enter my apple ID on the iPad, a verification code is sent to my other devices but no input field shows up on the iPad. How do I resolve this?

On an older device, simply append the Verification Code to your Password.
For example, if your Password is PasswordABC - and the Verification Code is 123456 - you would enter PasswordABC123456
