ipad under applecare
i have a new ipad that came bent, is it worth it to send it in for a replacement (which is refurbished or reconditioned) or take it to be serviced? both are the same price ($49)

Per your earlier enquiry, under AppleCare+, it will make no difference whether you use Apple’s mail-in service - or take the iPad to an Apple Store. In both cases, the iPad will be exchanged - most likely for a renewed/reconditioned iPad of the same model and specification.
