SENT EMAILS BEING DELETED BY NATIVE MAIL APP

I have noticed for a while that some emails in my SENT FOLDER are not present while others are. I discovered that if I had CC'd or BCC'd myself in an email, and moved that received email from the INBOX to another folder within the native IOS mail app, the IOS device then removes the copy from the SENT folder. It is there and I watch it dissapear.

I then tested this same proces using OUTLOOK 2021 and the Xfinity web version of the email program and the email remains in the SENT folder even after moving the "received" cc copy from the INBOX.

This is happening across all IOS devices. Why is IOS native mail app removing the email from the SENT folder.

You are probably referring to email messages. The Sent folder may have unsynced or you may not have configured the email account in the server to save sent messages.

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.
