Hi Im looking into purchasing a new Apple Watch GPS say im out and about and there's no wifi near me will it still work as long as my watch is connected to my phone?

If your iPhone is nearby, it will do everything the cellular model will do, only using the iPhone’s radios.

If the iPhone is at home, the Apple Watch will tell time, track exercise, play music or podcasts stored on the Apple Watch.

Away from the iPhone, it will not be able to talk to the Internet.
