How can I include parts of my iCloud drive in my regular Time Machine back-ups?

I'm trying to include the contents of some of my iCloud drive in my Time Machine back-ups. This is not for Photos, or Messages, etc. It's for one folder I store in the iCloud that I want to have included on the Time Machine. Thanks!

If you sync your Mac with iCloud and have turned off optimize storage, all of your files are backed up using Time Machine. If you optimize storage, items that have been offloaded will not back up as they are not resident on your Mac.
