Storage filling up on videos that wont show

I need some help. Ever since around 2021 when I got this iPhone back my storage has been super full and I couldn’t pin point what it was. Every time I checked it showed my messages taking over the entire storage and I wasn’t sure why for years. Then recently last year my phone broke so we had to reset it and I recovered it through iCloud but even after that it still showed that my messages were taking up all the space. Now, today I looked further into it and now I can see that it is saying that my sent videos were taking up 284 MB even though I have closed the app to refresh it multiple times, updated it, and even restarted the phone to still see the videos taking up so much space even though I have deleted all of them. Ive tried searching for help but I just can’t seem to find any kind of help and now I am typing here hoping to get some help:( its really annoying to me and it has bugged me for so long..

Hello Pix3lgalaxy,

Thanks for the screenshots. 284 MB (Videos) is much less than 73.82 GB (Messages). It seems from your screenshots that Messages as a whole is where the issue is coming from.

If you go back to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, then select Messages, what do you see? Typically, you should see which conversations are taking up the most amount of that storage. This can be due to attachments like photos and videos in the message thread: How to check the storage on your iPhone and iPad - Apple Support

If you don't think this is the case, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly for a closer look into this anomaly: Get Support

Take care.
