How do I get rid of my old email address in the small iCloud box that pops up? It's grayed out and I can't delete it even though I already updated my email address with Apple. It's maddening.

Looking over About your Apple ID email addresses - Apple Support under "Additional email addresses", we recommend looking over this. In this section you can see if you see any email addresses you want to delete.
