A restart of your WiFi Router and iPad may be helpful.

To restart you home router, disconnect power - then wait at least 30 seconds before restarting. When you router has rebooted (which may take several minutes), force-restart your iPad:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If the problem persists, try changing your device DNS Settings from Automatic to Manual - and replace the automatically selected DNS servers with those of Quad9, OpenDNS or Cloudflare.

Settings > WiFi > [Your WiFi SSID] - tap the “i” icon - then Configure DNS > Manual - replace the listed DNS servers*

(*) Enter all four addresses for the chosen service, one server address on each line (the sequence isn’t critical); delete any other server addresses from the list.
