Activation Lock

My iPad recently got locked and recovered the password then tried to get into my iPad again, it did not work. I contacted Apple Support, they told me I should remove it from Find My because its offline, I have. It did not work, the lock is still there and it is saying now that I cant unlock my device with the set-up ID.
