IDK. So, what do...

Recommend this to Apple:

Do your Part: These are user-to-user forums. Apple rarely reads these forums on their own time as it is. So, provide Apple with feedback on this.  Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what features to include in iOS versions to come.

To Provide Feedback:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that you want this to be an option and why. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed form there as necessary

Recommend this to Apple. Apple will know nothing of you opinions, if you don’t mention anything of them to them. See my reply.

It would be really nice if apple implements RCS to iMessage, we aren’t asking for iMessages to android, just better messaging between two users, I switch back and forward from my iPhone and galaxy, and I like the fact that some of my friends get happy when they see the RCS messages showing on their end. Apple we aren’t asking for much but better messaging between two platforms, just make messaging better don’t sugar coated like y’all doing it with iOS 17.

It seems that they are using the universal RCS profile by GSMA (the original company RCS) instead of Google's RCS which EIT (encrypted in transit). This is most likely because other countries don't like encryption in general much less E2E encryption or they just don't like Google that much. Just remember that that Apple has compromise your data and privacy because just to sell within another company. Google has fought against governmental policies that aimed to censor, steal, log your data and has in the past contacted consumers if a warrant was placed on your data sometimes against gag orders. Apple doesn't do that.

Yes. Apple needs to support RCS or come up with something similar. Sending messages via SMS or MMS is basically an obsolete tech and they need to get with the modern tech days and have us all on an up to date modern messaging system so we can text non iPhone devices. Do they not realize they put us apple users at risk with unencrypted messages when we message non iphones? It will never be an all iphone world. Both android and iphones will be sticking around a long time. It's time for Apple to get with the times. We shouldn't be using old tech in this day of such hi-tech technology.

Unfortunately, Apple has stopped innovating and has only been doing the bare minimum to stay relevant. So much that UK for example had to step in and say "do this" but that's a double edged sword.

As Steve Jobs said about big companies

"The company does a great job, innovates and becomes a monopoly or close to it in some field, and then the quality of the product becomes less important."

So, Apple started fell into the same habits they did when they pushed him out in 1985 before asking back around 10 years later.

You're diluted if you think Apple cares about your security over sales.

When for Google RCS can't out

that offered E2E. Then apple made iMessage level 6 secure (they had the means to do long time ago) just to say they did. They're only adding it because the EU is pressuring for them to do it.

Apple only innovates when their sales are threatened. Like moving all servers to China to spy on Chinese citizens domestic and abroad they are pushing to have all Chinese descent.

You seem to think that Google is security focused on user data. The companies largest revenue source is profits off of your data. The same cannot be said for Apple. If security is important to you, then a company that makes money from selling your personal information to target you with ads is probably not the best option.
