iPad iMessage not syncing

My iPad Air 5 will not sync messages with my Mac and my iPhone. I have every setting turned on, including text message forwarding. All the settings are exactly the same across each device and yet I’m missing weeks of conversation on my iPad. How do i fix this? Every answer I’ve come across tells me to change the same five setttings, reset the iPad, or turn something off an on, like the iCloud sync. I’ve done all of this a thousand times over with no results. I’m very frustrated.

Given everything that you have already repeatedly attempted, you might be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.


Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your devices, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
