Burn like lesion from Apple Watch SE gen 2

I have worn this watch for the past 8-9 months and I’ve never had an issue until today when I noticed significant pain under the heart monitor portion of the watch I took it off and I have a red sensitive ring with an open wound in it .

Hello Tractor_craig,

It might be worth trying to clean the Apple Watch to try cleaning any chemicals/bacteria that has grown over the months - How to clean your Apple Watch - Apple Support.

You can also read - Wearing your Apple Watch - Apple Support to make sure it's worn properly.

It might also be worth to stop wearing it for the time being and consulting a doctor.
