Everytime I try to apply the remove silence tool it crashes. I have been able to use it for multiple projects before until these past few weeks. It completely crashes my project. Very unusual and could use some guidance on this, or they need to update the program. PLEASE HELP

I had to work around it. I can tell you that before doing any mixing, make sure all your levels are right on your mic / instrument inputs. Gain levels on your audio interface to be specific. I don’t feel like I need to remove silence anymore. Just make sure everything’s set up and tested before it’s even recorded. The Noise gate and expander can help some background noise if you’ve done all you can before mixing.
Just my two cents on it, I hope you gained something from reading this.
The same thing is happening to me! I can strip silence a few audio regions then it will randomly crash Logic. Sooooo frustrating!
