HardShells and keyboard covers

so what are your thoughts? stop using this accessories ? the worn off paint or whatever was because of the keyboard cover? I tried to do the best but I feel like I ended up with a worst result

I would not use either. Here is what Apple has to say about using keyboard covers:

Why do you need a hard shell? The computer already has a hard case.

Dust is not an issue in normal operating environments. Using a keyboard cover is far more likely to cause damage than is dust.
