Stocks widget line bar not working.

My stock widget is not showing the stock trendline in the widget. It only shows the grey baseline instead.

(All other values are correct). I have tried deleting and re-inserting it, turning the phone off/on etc. Clicking on it only opens the stocks app. This has been happening for a while with latest version of iOS installed. Anyone know what the issue is?

stock widget disappeared in ios17 Ever since updating to iOS 17 on iPhone 13 I have not been able to access the Stocks app widget. It completely disappeared. It does not even show up as an option in the list of widgets I can add, even after deleting and reinstalling the app. Initially I thought it was a bug that would be fixed, but problems persists into iOS 17.0.3.

Latest update has broken Stocks widgets I use the Stocks app widgets to keep track of my stocks - I have one widget for each holding. Up until yesterday's update they were working fine. Since the update however, they initially were not working at all (white widget with SYMBOL failed) text. Today, for some weird reason some of them are working again, but one widget for one particular stock is not. The data is there because if I click on the widget it opens the data for that holding in a new window, BUT the widget itself is displaying nothing - the white widget with text as above. I have tried deleting them all and recreating but it has made no difference. Has anyone else experienced this? I was in a chat with Apple about it yesterday, but they dropped the chat on me.

Don’t know what the problem is but I have a workaround that fixed it for me.

Create a new watchlist with the stocks you want to see in the stocks widget using the stocks app.

Edit widget to select that list rather than the default.

This should bring back the trend lines.
