Photos in my hidden album are shown in my iCloud Photos when viewing from my PC. I thought that is not supposed to happen. I was scrolling for a photo at work and imagine my embarrassment when a private photo was displayed

Hidden photos do not appear in your general photo library, only in the hidden album. If you marked items as hidden and your device did not yet sync, then you may still see such items until a sync has completed
