how to power on my iphone automatic

Currently, there is no built-in feature on iPhones that allows for automatic powering on. iPhones are designed to be manually powered on by pressing and holding the power button (also known as the side button) located on the right or left side of the device, depending on the model.

This is only true for the iPhone 12 and later.

However......if the battery has run down to zero, then the phone cannot send out a signal.

Hmmm…. I was under the impression that was specific to the 12 and later.

I wonder if what you’re seeing is true or if displaying that is a ‘bug’…

If you get the chance, see if it’s locatable when it’s off… I’m curious.

Yep, thanks for the catch, although my iPhone 11 running iOS 16.5.1 indicates that...."iPhone Findable after Power Off" next to the slider to power off the phone.
