I set up my kids watch through by iphone watch app as family sharing w their email. On my iPhone it shows as online, but 'not sharing location' even though his watch shows it as enabled. Note that I setup his watch as a family member using my iPhone, but his own appleID.

mind you if it's not the cellular watch then it would only be able to access the internet to provide a location if it was within range of wifi it's been connected to prior
Thanks. Everything is turned on. It actually looked like it worked a few weeks ago bc it says its at a location we were a few weeks ago but not updating. Ive reset as well
