I pulled down the menu in the upper right hand corner pushed up the volume and brightness to maximum levels, turned my phone off then turned it back on-problem solved.

If the clock on your Lock Screen appears faded or dim, it may be due to the Low Power Mode being enabled on your iPhone. When Low Power Mode is active, some visual elements, including the Lock Screen clock, are dimmed to conserve battery life. To make the clock brighter on your Lock Screen, you can try the following steps:
If none of these steps help, it's possible that there may be an underlying issue with your iPhone's software or display settings. In such cases, you may want to consider contacting Apple Support or visiting an authorized service provider for further assistance.
It sounds like the clock widget on the lock screen has gotten changed.
Hard reset worked for me. Volume up volume down then power button until the apple logo comes up.

The time on my Lock Screen faded and I tried everything suggested but nothing worked to fix it. Then I had the idea of pulling down from the top right corner where I control that sort of thing. I pulled down the brightness as much as possible, closed the screen. Went back up and pulled it down again and turned up the brightness and this time the clock numbers became white again.
Helo can you help me because my lock screen clock is faded too, i cant fix it
Simple restart of iPhone fixed this for me
Sounds like a lot less trouble doing it this way. Thanks.
For some reason, my phone glitched out a few times saying suck on the camera button and then until I turned it off it kept fading the time out and then until I just shut it off and did that again it showed the brightness level back again for some reason you need to keep turning on and off your phone and not go through your settings
I fixed this issue by resetting the settings on my phone. Don’t know how long it will work plus it’s a pain to have to redo some things like Face ID but my time is no longer faded out.
This worked for me. Thank you.
This worked, thank you.
This worked for me too! Thanks!!
I just powered the phone off and back on, and it reset to where I could read the clock numbers again!
