Calendar continuously showing 'location changed'

Every couple of days on my Mac Air, iPhone and iPad Air (all are up to date) I get repeated messages in my calendar inbox for some future appointments that there is a 'location change' despite there being no change. It only seems to affect appointments in locations away from my current time zone. It's frustrating having to click OK on all devices for each appointment every 2-3 days. Is there a fix?
