Are these (Pages export to Word, and then Scrivener import of Word) not working?

Does MS Word not use the same .docx file formats for the Windows and MacOS versions?

If it does, using the File > 'Export to' menu item, should produce a .docx version of the Pages file that can be opened in current versions of MS Word for Windows or MS Word for macOS. The Word version will be missing any features supported in Pages, but not supported in the Windows version into which it is opened. (Similar limitations apply to documents being translated from MS Word .docx files to Pages—features supported in the source document but not supported in the receiving document will not be included in the translated file/document.
