private relay
Hi
so I was just reading up on Private Relay. I didn’t know it existed so had a look at my ICloud + setting and Private Relay was on. I haven’t turned it on so was wondering is it defaulted to on? 🤔

Almost always, when you have a feature that is designed to keep you secure and your information private it will be turned on by default. It’s good to know that this feature is now enabled by default with iCloud+ subscriptions.
Prior, it was not enabled by default because the feature was in an open beta. Some users did not want to participate or experienced issues and wanted to turn it off. Now that it is out of beta, it should be toggled on by default to protect your Internet traffic.
