  • Does the music play in your iTunes Library (on the computer)?
  • If you are using Sync selected playlists, albums, artists and genres? (rather than Sync Entire music library), have you included the purchased music in a list of items to be synchronised?
  • Are you signed into your iTunes account on the iPod (the same account that you used to purchase the music from the store)?
  • Do you see any error messages when you use Sync?

If you are using Sync entire library, but the result is 200 fewer songs on the iPod than in your iTunes Library, then we need to check step by step why that might be.

First of all, how do you arrive at the figure of 200 songs missing from the iPod? Can you identify the common factor of those missing songs? Are they all purchases from the iTunes Store? Is the music that is on your iPod also from the iTunes Store (perhaps earlier purchases) or is it from somewhere else?

Also, check that the missing songs are ticked (checked) in your library. The easiest way to do that that is to use the Songs view and look for the tick boxes to the left of each song. The iTunes default setting is that any song not ticked will not be added to the iPod.

By the way, please don't use all capitals in your posts. It makes it more difficult to read and can be interpreted as aggressive and impolite shouting.
