copying of mail messages

My mail copies messages. How do I stop this?

Wondering which MacPro model you are using and which MacOS version is installed.


Eg: Using MacOS Monterey:

In the Mail app :

Click Mail > Preferences > Choose "Composing" from the top menu

Check if you have ticked Automatically Cc (or Bcc) myself


Click the tick to Untick: if you do not want to save these copies of every message you compose.


Else:

For MacOS Ventura : check Apple support's online article for the settings:
