key sounds

When I call a place with a recorded message and choose the option I want using my I12 there is no hey choice received nor can I hear it.

The feature or function that you're describing is known as dual-tone multi-frequency, or DTMF more commonly. On landlines and some older cellular technology, this signal or sound originated with the device when you pressed the corresponding key on the number pad. Modern cellular technology does not generate these tones, rather a signal is sent to your carrier to insert the tone when you press a keypad number.


As such, it would be necessary to contact your carrier regarding this feature and to explore options or troubleshooting if it does not work.
