Keyboards, yes. All models of iPad Air support Bluetooth keyboards.
For the mouse, it depends on the model of iPad Air, and the iPadOS version it is running.
You need an iPad Air 2 or later running iPadOS 13.4 or later to connect a bluetooth Mouse.

Hi,
I tested my MacBook keyboard and mouse, they all worked fine. I also found that it even worked with my Dell Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, which is really cool and handy. I can switch my monitor between Windows laptop and iPad Air with one set of keyboard and mouse.
iPadOS stage manager is kind of confusing and hard to get a good grasp of it. I’ve heard that the next iPadOS 17 release should do a much better job and look forward to it.
Will try to spend some time to find some good use on external flash drives. Really want to save some space on internal storage and back up data from time to time.
With some enhancement, iPad is ready to replace laptops in most scenarios. It’s so light and powerful, easy to carry it around all the time.
Thanks.
Dennis
Hi Phil,
Thanks for the quick reply on this. Another question on external flash storage. I can see the file app did detect my flash drive. What things I can do to it? copy all the files to this flash drive? Can I use it for some apps as extra storage space?
Thanks.
Dennis

Connected flash storage devices can be used for storing data, or transferring data/files to another computer. You cannot install Apps on connected storage.
You can do what you normally do with flash drives. Copy files and photos to and from it.
You cannot install Apps on the flash drive, and you cannot copy music from the Music app to the flash drive.
You can store music from a computer, and use the Files app or a 3rd party music player to play that music on the iPad, but you cannot the copy the music into the Apple Music app from the Files App.
