Whenever I’m on FaceTime with my girlfriend I like to watch tiktoks but the sound is so low and the call volume is much higher. When I try turning my volume up it does turn the videos up but it also turns the call audio up so no matter what it over powers and I can’t hear anything else on my phone, is there a way to fix this?

Facetime audio problems When i am on a facetime call with someone i find that every time i speak or make a sound the audio of the other person cuts out, this makes having conversations very hard! i have an iphone 8 plus which i only use for facetime however i still have this problem when facetiming on my ipad air and iphone 12 pro. tia

FaceTime on iPhone mutes other person when Im speaking. Whenever i make any noise from my end while on FaceTime, it completely mutes the other person. I can see their lips moving, But i cannot hear them at all, after i stop speaking/making noise it takes a good second for the other persons sound to be activated again. This creates a lot of mistunderstandings and is annoying for both ends ive messed around with settings such as phone noise cancellation, but no settings seem to have the fix. im on an iPhone 11 with iOS 16.7

Hi Abigailstancik,

There would not be a separate volume control for content shared through FaceTime and the FaceTime call itself.
